Tony Khan has subtly confirmed that 27-year-old star is leaving AEW

A popular star’s AEW departure may have subtly been confirmed by the company president, Tony Khan, on a recent show. The star’s current contract is reportedly set to expire soon.

Tony Khan might have made it apparent that the 27-year-old star, Anna Jay is leaving All Elite Wrestling. This past Thursday, on the Thanksgiving night of Collision, Tay Melo squared off against Thekla. After Thekla won, the Triangle of Madness came out and launched an attack on Tay Melo.

While fans were expecting Tay Melo’s tag team partner, Anna Jay to show up and make the save, Jamie Hayter and Kris Statlander showed up instead and dealt with the Triangle of Madness. Tony not having Anna Jay to show up for her tag team partner may have confirmed her departure, as Jay’s contract is reportedly set to expire soon.

There is no news yet regarding whether Anna Jay has re-signed with the Jacksonville-based promotion. Further updates will be provided regarding this matter.

Tony Khan revealed that an AEW star will be out due to injury

Tony Khan recently opened up on the status of the AEW star, Kyle O’Reilly. Kyle squared off against Jon Moxley in a no-holds-barred match at Full Gear 2025. At the end of a violent encounter, O’Reilly surprisingly defeated Moxley.

During the Full Gear 2025 post-show media scrum, Tony revealed that Kyle O’Reilly is dealing with some injuries coming out of the no-holds-barred match, and he won’t be competing in this year’s Continental Classic:

“Kyle O’Reilly will probably be out of action and it’s unfortunate because Kyle did want to wrestle in the Continental Classic he was really excited about it… I think Kyle’s probably not going to be cleared and will probably have to deal with some injuries coming out of what was an incredible no-holds-barred match,” Khan said.

Fans will have to wait and see when Kyle O’Reilly will be back from injury.
