Calling it her “khazana,” she admits that mornings are usually rushed, and this layout helps her quickly decide what works with what.

Her collection spans timeless luxury and playful ease. Longtime favourites include gold-and-silver Jimmy Choo heels and a classic black pair that works across outfits. There’s also a more honest addition: a pair of Miu Miu heels bought in Paris by her husband.

Why She Calls Herself A ‘Jutti Girl’

While heels and sneakers have their place, Saumya’s heart clearly belongs to juttis. Describing them as the most beautiful accessory for Indian wear, she proudly shows designs collected over the years, including pairs sourced from Amritsar. Some have been with her for over a decade – a testament to her belief in rewearing rather than replacing. This philosophy extends to her colourful sneaker collection too, which she fondly refers to as her “happy shoes.”

Clothes That Live Across The Home

Interestingly, Saumya doesn’t confine her clothes to a single closet. Outfits are spread across rooms, with the walk-in space reserved for her most-used and cherished pieces. Her everyday style leans heavily towards breathable cottons, linens and homegrown labels. Among her most meaningful garments are a 15-year-old black net dress gifted by her sister and a powder blue high-low dress worn during a recent film event – both rooted in memory rather than momentary fashion.

Despite wearing nearly 500 sarees on screen during her television years, Saumya’s personal saree collection today is deliberately minimal. She gravitates towards light, fuss-free drapes that are easy to move in, keeping only a handful that truly resonate with her.
