Katie Price left her fans divided after newly surfaced footage appeared to show her kicking her new puppy.

The former glamour model, 47, who continues to face calls to be banned from owning pets, recently added a new pup named Arlo to her family, sharing pictures of her dog with her son Harvey on social media.

On Tuesday, Katie shared a sponsored post on her Facebook account, but fans accused her of kicking Arlo in video. 

‘Taking to my new baby Arlo for walkies’, she wrote, adding a link to a grey trench coat she was wearing in the clip.

However, at one point in the video, fans became distracted  by a moment where the reality star appeared to kick her pup. 

One joked: ‘She just kicked the poor thing while another warned: ‘Watch your foot.’

This is not the first time Katie has faced backlash. A petition calling for her to be banned from owning pets previously gained more than 37,000 signatures. It followed reports that her cat Doris’s kittens had become seriously unwell.

She also faced criticism from an animal charity over a ‘dangerous’ incident where  her dog was seen hanging out of a car window.
